Meet Dayna Shriver, DDS

Dr. Dayna Shriver is pleased to join Ypsilanti Dental Group. Dr. Shriver’s goal is to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. She strives to improve the oral health of patients with compassionate and comprehensive care with a strong focus on patient education to help patients achieve their long-term oral health goals. Dr. Shriver enjoys becoming acquainted with patients and answering patient questions and aims to ensure that patients feel comfortable and at ease during dental appointments.

Dr. Shriver was raised in Rochester, Michigan. She completed undergraduate studies at Oakland University, where she was a member of the Honors College and a Presidential Scholar. She attended dental school at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society in Dentistry, based on academic achievement. Following dental school, Dr. Shriver completed a General Practice Residency at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, where she provided comprehensive dental care to veterans and gained experience in the treatment of medically complex patients, as well as experience with hospital dentistry. After residency, Dr. Shriver continued working in Ann Arbor as a general dentist. Dr. Shriver is excited to continue serving patients in the community and looks forward to caring for patients at Ypsilanti Dental Group.

Dr. Shriver is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Washtenaw District Dental Society. She is passionate about learning and participates in continuing education courses in order to stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry.

In her spare time, Dr. Shriver enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and cooking and especially loves weekends in northern Michigan on the lake with her family.
